6th Seminar of the Government Data Research Ecosystem

April 1, 2026

At the 6th Research Data Gov Ecosystem Seminar, the Energy Transition Observatory (OTE), which is working on LabEx’s WP6, presented its work and commitments regarding data management and utilization in support of research.

This presentation highlighted several key elements:

  • the organization and structure of the OTE, which brings together a multidisciplinary community of researchers committed to an open and participatory energy transition;
  • the data lifecycle, from its collection in accordance with consent through to its scientific use;
  • concrete feedback from the xKy study.

One key point was emphasized: the strategic role of data management and utilization in the advancement of research.

In this context, OTE is fully committed to an open science approach, leveraging the Recherche Data Gouv infrastructure to:

  • distribute the datasets produced;
  • encourage their reuse by the scientific community;
  • enhance the transparency and impact of research.

The goal is clear: to accelerate the generation of knowledge and support research teams working on the energy transition.
