The EnergyAlps Laboratory of Excellence (LabEx)
EnergyAlps brings together Grenoble's academic community with a focus on electrification for a successful energy transition. EnergyAlps studies electrical components and systems at different spatial and temporal scales. The scientific challenges concern the planning and control of resilient energy systems, the regulation, governance, and ownership of decarbonized organizations, the deployment of digital architectures for smart grids, the development of power electronics adapted to the energy transition, and the methods, tools, and data needed to conduct disruptive and multidisciplinary research (electrical engineering, social sciences, digital technology, applied mathematics, etc.).
