Launch of the Université Grenoble Alpes Energy Cluster

April 22, 2026

Cluster

The UGA Energy Cluster serves as a forum for discussion and the development of collective strategies for the UGA in the field of energy. It encompasses research, education, and innovation activities. At the heart of the Cluster is its strategic committee, which brings together representatives from research centers and units, academic departments, the university innovation hub, and socio-economic partners.

The Cluster was launched on April 22 in Grenoble, with support from LabEx EnergyAlps. Following an introduction by the President of UGA, the members of the strategic committee got to know one another better and then shared their expectations for the Cluster. All discussions were facilitated by UGA’s Design Factory. Work will continue in the fall during the second strategic committee meeting, with the goal of already proposing initial strategic priorities for the development of UGA.
